Why am I required to submit additional information, or why is my account under review via PIX Pay?

As required by the payment method's regulations, an account review must be conducted. You may need to provide additional information such as your nationality, full name, date of birth, gender, and residential address. The review process typically takes up to one (1) business day. 

 

 

 

What should I do if the activation or account review fails?

Bybit Pay does not charge any transaction fee for QR Pay transactions.

Foreign exchange fees may apply depending on the payment methods and currency used during the transaction. Foreign exchange rates include both the exchange rate and any conversion costs between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

If you make payments using BRL or ARS currencies, and if

  • The total transaction amount exceeds 2,000 USD, or

  • The number of transactions exceeds 30 

within a calendar month, a transaction fee will be applied to each subsequent transaction. 

 

Fees for each subsequent transaction:

  • BRL: 0.26 USD

  • ARS: 0.42 USD

Is there any transaction limit for each QR payment?

    • If a transaction amount is ≤ 0.65 USD, a minimum default amount of 0.65 USD will be charged.

  • Maximum: 900 USD per transaction and 15,000 USD per day.

PIX Pay

  • Minimum: No minimum transaction limit.

  • Maximum: 15,000 USD per transaction.

  • Minimum: No minimum transaction limit.

  • Maximum: 15,000 USD per transaction.

 

 

 

How long does it take to complete a QR Pay transaction?

Most transactions are typically completed within 15 seconds. 

 

 

 

What are the potential error messages I might encounter when using QR Pay, and how can I resolve them?

 

Scenario

Potential Reason and Solution

The QR Code is invalid

  • There is no amount embedded in the QR Code.

  • The QR Code has been paid.

  • The QR Code has expired.

  • The QR Code cannot be identified by our bank partners.

    • If it's not identified, the payment will have issue too.

Network Error

  • Please check your internet connection and try again.

  • If the issue persists, consider switching networks (e.g., from mobile data to Wi-Fi) and retry the action.

Pay by QR Error

  • The transaction was unsuccessful possibly because the transaction limit has been reached. Please try again.

Transaction Timeout

  • The transaction took too long to process and timed out.

  • Please try again and ensure you have a stable internet connection and avoid refreshing or navigating away during the transaction.

Risk Control Hit

  • Due to the risk control hit, we cannot process your transaction right now for security purposes. Please retry again.

Insufficient Fund

  • The funds in the Funding Account are insufficient.

  • You can directly top-up your crypto/BRL, or transfer the fund from UTA to Funding Account on this page. After you transfer the fund, click “Try Again” to scan the QR Code again.

QR Pay Activation required

  • Some payment methods require QR Pay activation. Please complete the activation process in order to proceed with the payment. 

Other Failed Reasons

  • Please try again and ensure the following:

    • Your account has a sufficient balance.

    • The QR code is valid and supported.

  • Another possible reason could be a security measure on your account, which can temporarily restrict withdrawals. For example, this can be triggered by changes to your security settings, such as a password reset. Please try again after 24 hours. 

  • If the issue persists, please contact Bybit Customer Support for further assistance.
